Pittsburgh Steel Processing was founded in 2019 to service the steel construction marketplace. We utilize our specialty CNC equipment, along with our experienced staff, to responsibly partner with others in the industry to bring projects to completion on time, while maintaining strict quality standards. JOB OPPORTUNITIES
D1.1 CERTIFIED WELDER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
Install and repair various equipment and components
Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
Ability to handle physical workload
STEEL SHOP MECHANIC/ SHOP MACHINERY MAINTENANCE PERSON
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair and maintenance of steel shop machinery such as burn tables, drill lines, anglemaster, press brake, etc.
Perform routine equipment maintenance
Perform quality inspections to keep the equipment running safely
Troubleshoot problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
CNC OPERATOR – FAB SHOP
RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read drawings
Must be able to be mobile and lift up to 60#
Must be willing to respond to fluid situations in a fast paced environment
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required
